I appreciate that hard-workin' Texas boys who chop their own wood and ride bicycles into people have a sturdy, self-help, boot-strappin' can-do attitude, but I think we could use some help, KTHXPLZ!!1!1!1

“I do expect a lot of sympathy, and perhaps some will send cash dollars. But this country is going to rise up and take care of it.

“We love help, but we are going to take care of our own business, as well.”

I could be misunderestimating what he said, though, 'cause it's pretty cracked out. Do we love help? Or do we not want it? Or expect it? Huh what? One way or another, it's a pretty weird thing to say.
