You know, I had hoped to quit being so political on this blog now that I have a whole other blog entirely devoted to politics, but I have to watch my mouth over there and some things just beg for acid sarcasm. To wit:

I really don't understand why the GOP is so anti-homosexual, considering how much they enjoy the total buggering of parliamentary procedure on the floor of the House:

The vote was held open for more than 40 minutes as House Rupublican leaders tried to persuade some of the 15 party members who initially opposed the bill to shift their vote. Two changed their minds at the last minute, allowing the leadership to eke out victory by a two-vote margin.

You know, I wish Notre Dame had been able to “hold open” the game against Michigan State just long enough to score one more measly touchdown. The GOP with its junkyard dog DeLay keeps doing this on votes it can't win legitimately, and no one who keeps voting for them realize that in any other country we would call this a junta. It's so shameful.
