Osama bin Laden? Still on the loose and sending us mix-tapes.
Taleban? Preparing to retake Afghanistan.
The Geneva Convention? Now removed entirely from Army field manuals.
Cargo containers coming into our ports? Still 94% unscreened.
National energy policy? Dictated by oil company execs.
Minimum wage? Hasn’t changed since I bought my first 1.5-pound cellphone.
Two of my healthy, degreed friends? Still can’t get health insurance.
But my butt? The Repbulican Senate can’t stop fighting to defend it from the dirty ‘mos. God bless ‘em.
