Yep. There it was. ABC went ahead and included the totally fictitious scene of Sandy Berger essentially blocking at the last minute an operation to snatch Bin Laden in Afghanistan, an operation that was never in place according to the 9/11 Commission. Naturally this scene immediately followed an excerpt of TV news broadcasting Clinton lying about a blowjob — something I wonder whether the White House has seen since then — without context whatsoever, just to get it out there to titillate the Right.

I can’t wait till tomorrow’s episode to see how they treat our noble President and his National Security Advisor’s comprehension of an intelligence brief that said something…what was it? I don’t remember exactly. Something along the lines of “Bin Laden determined to attack targets in United States.” Not as catchy as “My Pet Goat” but clear nonetheless. Of course, “no one could have imagined” anyone “using planes as missiles” despite the fact that this docu-ganda film itself showed we knew that was coming as soon as we unravelled the Bojinka plot.

Obviously Clinton had a monopoly on lying. Conservatives speak only the truth because they have Jesus™.

So irritated.
