Normally it’d make me barf in my own shorts to post a clip from Fox News for purposes other than lambasting it, and to get it by way of a Townhall.com recording is orders of magnitude more sickening. However, the content of the clip provided by two of the “top three” Democratic candidates is already enough to put a knot in my stomach, so what the hell.

After the NAACP presidential forum yesterday, hot microphones picked up Edwards approaching Clinton to discuss cutting those pesky single-digit-millions candidates out of future appearances.

Edwards: At some point…[unintelligible]…maybe in the Fall, we should try to have a more serious and a smaller group.

Clinton: Well, we’ve got to cut the number…because they are just being trivialized.

[Because they are being trivialized? Or did she mean we? And if anyone’s trivializing, it’s the MSM with their lame questions and popcorn sound bite volleys.]

Edwards: And they’re not serious. They’re not serious.
Clinton: No. You know, I think there was an effort by our campaigns to do that. It got somehow detoured. We’ve gotta get back to it…. Our guys should talk.

Thank you, John Edwards, for reminding us that unless you can raise $10M a quarter, you’re “not serious.” Maybe with a few of those millions you can come up with a plan for Iraq. Give all the Sunnis nice haircuts or something. Unreal, for once I’m with Kucinich.

2008: The best election money can buy!

God, I woke up one morning and the whole world had become American Idol.
